stand ideas?

just checking to see if there are any creative stand ideas I am missing out  there.

 

other than DIY ( might do that too) but any good night stand, side table, work benches anything from walmart, ikea, amazon, home depo, lowes etc. that I can use for a 18.5 gal peninsula build.

 

I have a nice side table but before i do that just checking to see if I am missing anything??

oh I should mention that well be a couch side peninsula tank in the living room.

@WV Reeferhmm that could work. Ideally it would be fully enclosed  so I can have an ATO res.& power strip  in there with out it looking janky...sorry team janky..haha

 

i found these but they dont ship for 1-3 months 😞  I think that what my bed side tabe I was/am going to use is just a bit different.

yeah my thoughts too priced right and looks great I did find some on overstock but it's $50 more and not the same. i'll keep digging around the interwebs to see if I can find one. I got my bedside table from the restore for $20 It would work perfect however no cabinet for the ATO as this is my 2nd tank  in the room I need it to looks as clean as possible.

Try Wayfair if you haven’t already..... I’ve found nice furniture there.

so been looking at stand ideas for a few hours...the thinks we do for our tank.

 

so of right now I am between:

DIY  100% plywood  stand 

EZ tube alum. tubing

side table. was all over the side tables but the GF was like meh.

Here are some ideas. With some of these stands, some ppl put extra support in the cabinet. You will want to consider the weight it can support.

 

There are quite a few Google images with various ikea stands and the additional support added.

Have you looked at any buffets?  I think those type of dimensions are what your looking more for.  They are all enclosed too with cabinet doors.  If you have any local antique or second hand stores, I would check those first.

I have not but looks like there a bit big and $$$ but well worth looking into more.

thanks everyone for the feedback and ideas I have a few options. now to narrow it down. 

in the mean time I think i;ll use what i have so I can water test the tank and get the scape and cycle started that way i'll have a few weeks to get the stand together. then change it over 😄
