Danyalk
My green Trachyphylia doesn't open enough. It looks like flow but my low flow zones aren't helping. Quote Link to comment
EthanPhillyCheesesteak
Hmmm, would like to know what’s going on if this ever happens to mine Quote Link to comment
MainelyReefer
It’s flesh has visibly receded, I would say it has to do with parameter issues. I agree though it does look like the flesh is being lifted by too much current but if it’s in a lower flow area in this pic it must be something else. What other LPS are in the tank? What’s their health? Quote Link to comment
Danyalk
@granitereefer I have Hammers, torches, zoas, sps, a clam, gsp, and more. Everything is thriving but I just can get the flesh of this coral to stop receding. I tried doing an iodine dip but that doesn't help. Every now and then it'll get a good day where it expands fully but that's not very often. Quote Link to comment
EthanPhillyCheesesteak
How long has it been like this? Quote Link to comment
Danyalk
@EthanPhillyCheesesteak A couple months. Pretty much since I got it. Quote Link to comment

He seems to be doing good. Is there a possibility that he could be wanting more flow? It’s probably stupid, but it’s a theory. Quote Link to comment
Danyalk
I doubt it. I've tried many different spots but nothing helps. Bump Quote Link to comment
EthanPhillyCheesesteak
Is he still not looking better? Quote Link to comment

mcarroll
Please test all basic water parameters and post the results. A full tank shot that shows the related tank hardware as well as the coral would also help. Quote Link to comment
