Crab only tank

I’m considering making a crab only tank, it would be maybe 15 gallons, and I want the most exotic crabs that I can get. Anyone know any crabs that would just be really cool and neat? I just love crabs, and I’m looking for something that not everyone may know about?

Like a blade tooth elbow crab would be awesome, stuff like that. Something way bizarre that nobody really knows about them

Always thought it'd be cool to keep a blue crab in a pretty tank. I live near the gulf coast and there are ton's just hanging out in our brown ocean.

That would actually be pretty cool, but I’m gonna have to make a decision here, bc there’s so many to choose from, and crabs are aggressive as heck😂

think about getting a 12 gallon long...it will give space for crabs to make claim to and perhaps allow for more selection and peace. or jump up to the 22 gallon long...same length, just a bit wider and taller.  🙂

You wouldn't even have to go expensive like some of those if you wanted. A standard 20g long isn't much at all, and with some good DIY effort, they can look quite good too. I personally don't have a lot of discretionary income for hobbies, so that's just how I think.

If you look up mightynanotank on Instagram, he's got a really cool 20g long. That'll give you an idea of some of the aesthetic potential for a standard 20g long.
