Hi all. I just bought some chaeto and I am in the process of makin a mini refugium in the 2nd chamber of my biocube 16. Does anyone have ideas on a small cheap light I can stick or tape to the glass in the back chamber that will grow chaeto? Thanks.😁

Check out page two of @Jackal227‘s build thread which has a great suggestion for setting up a refugium for a Biocube 16. Many of us Biocube 16 owners have used his method:

This is a great idea. Thanks😁!

A little expensive. I’d rather put 60 bucks to a new power head or corals. Thanks though😄.

Ya theres no need for a refugium light to be so expensive.

If these companies would make the price more reasonable, more ppl would buy the product

I jut got this light last week.  BRIGHT!

It feels well built, there is also some potential to make it lighter/smaller since its built into a heavy metal housing with a glass shield on it.  I used two sided tape to secure it to my tank, its been hanging for a week without an issue.

Thats it!  Still going strong, growing chaeto very well.  I pulled my reactor with GFO in it yesterday because I believe the chaeto with this light will have it under control.

Looks good, I run a big panel of hortaculture LEDs that I got from amazon. The light worked very well for me, but I wouldn't be surprised if you get some dead LEDs after a couple weeks. Happened to mine.
