johnmaloney Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 I planned a journey to locate a decorator crab species. Red to match the algae where he makes his home, he is hard to find. Unavailable for purchase at any price, this little guy is something special. So it was worth the time planning my route. Seeing the channels that were in his range. Finding the right depths is important, ya' know? I would have to go get close to the ground I covered and study every square inch. I dove in search of this crab until my dive shirt chafed. So I took it off. Then I continued until my back burned to match the crab I sought. "Maybe I need to become his habitat", I thought to myself "then he will come to me" Another day, no luck. Staring down another night's room bill and 3rd degree burns I decided it was worth enlisting some help. So I called a dive buddy of mine. I described the crab that had become my Moby Dick. . . . .
