Or less strategic, drop them on concrete from hip height or higher. Either way... Build looks fantastic so far! 2 Quote Link to comment
HM3105
I don't know now that the water has cleared I think I like this more. 3 Quote Link to comment

You saw the scape in my tank and I ordered 35lbs I think and asked for the biggest stuff they had. I got a box with 3 or 4 rocks in it.......... Quote Link to comment

Each of those pieces are pretty huge I might still break it up but for now I'm content to let it sit. 2 Quote Link to comment

HM3105
Just now, spectra said: Hell yeah! Now that looks much better......... I am thinking of ways to add a little more rock to mine. I am running out of coral space......... That is my biggest worry. I actually ended up just removing the 10 lbs tonga branch I had. This has a little room left so maybe I should buy another 10 lbs from BRS... Quote Link to comment
spectra
I like the pukani much better than the branch rock. I at least have rock in my sump so if I need more I will steal some from there. It has coralline all over it also so at least it will match. 1 Quote Link to comment
HM3105
So, tossed in a couple of cubes of food and a silverside last week. Ammonia is 0 but nitrates are pretty sky high. Excellent. I'm pretty sure I see algae developing too. Feels like it is time to start the fuge. 3 Quote Link to comment
HM3105
How about an update for a @jack1978 style slow build. The final scape, the water is clear so now you can see it better. Waterweld coming soon. The stand is in progress but here is a sneak peek. Also, I thought reef flakes weren't supposed to blow around!! Do you all like my cable management? Seems safe... The sump is online, with the fuge cooking and pull nitrates (I hope) Lights to come in a week I hope.. That's all for now, perhaps I'll be able to move this along at a @spectra pace soon! 6 Quote Link to comment

teenyreef
I like the scape and the sump! I think you're going to need a little more wood for the stand though 2 Quote Link to comment

spectra
Out of room just looks like a bunch of boogers on the rocks there is plenty of room left! 2 Quote Link to comment

Break those acros off and glue them to the rock xD One time I agree with Hairball yeah no plugs in the tank..................I have pulled 90% of my corals off of the plugs. Some were just to overgrown to get off so just cut the stem off and then glued them down. Those were all zoas though so not a big deal to me. Oh also have a few encrusting montis that well are not coming off the plug..... 1 Quote Link to comment

All plugs are being added to the rock with Waterweld so the entire plug is being covered up to the coral flesh. 1 Quote Link to comment
