dcbaros
Well I caught the bug, 4 months after starting a IM 20 Fusion I saw this bad boy in my LFS and could not resist. Its going to be a few days, if not weeks, until I can get everything I need to get it started. I plan on transferring the contents of the IM 20 over to this tank. It is extremely well made, I just worry that it is slightly top heavy. The tank itself is extremely heavy and the glass is pretty thick. I plan on leak testing in the next few days. I wanted something with a larger water volume and more space, this tank is everything I could ask for in a reef ready system. WhiteWulfe
That is rather a strikingly sexy tank! Glad to see that these are starting to roll out to more people... Hoping to get a closer look at one when an LFS gets their shipment in stock (they're hoping within two weeks). Link to comment
mclayj
I saw these being displayed at MAX a few weeks ago and they looked very well made. Good luck and I'm following along Link to comment
umax5555
I picked one up Saturday. Big upgrade from my 10 gallon. I really like the fact that it includes everything. I already have a return pump and lights. Really looking forward to the built in ATO. Thinking of picking up a skimmer just not sure which one. Don't want a huge one just something small and quiet. I think they are a platinum Red Sea dealer. Link to comment

dcbaros
I am going to keep an eye on this. that is a good looking tank Thanks! The only complaint I have is that the RO reservoir is glass and small. I can see it easily getting broke when trying to refill it. Link to comment
Hexadron
Wow, these tanks are hella nice. Good choice! Link to comment
12_egg_Omelette
I think that's great that they use glass. I work in a lab and ultra pure water is suppose to be kept in glass. So that's a huge selling point for me. How much does it hold though? Link to comment

dcbaros
Would a ecotech XR15 Pro be enough for this tank? Link to comment
dan.goldsmith
I love they way this tank looks as if it's "floating"! Slick, good luck with the build. As far as the light goes I'm going to let the lighting gurus answer that. Link to comment
seanoli
A member of my local group uses a XR15w Pro on his 60G cube and has great results. I have one on my 20G and my SPS are growing like weeds. Black sand: doesn't show garbage, but has some bits that are magnetic and you have to be careful when using a mag cleaner White sand: more natural and pops against the black background and seams but shows junk Link to comment
pico1
Following! I just got the same tank in white. Build thread in the members aquariums forum. I think an XR15w would be perfect! Just keep the wide angle lens installed for 24" coverage Link to comment
dcbaros
What's the coverage of the 80 degree? I'm literally in the process of switching the lenses. I couldn't find much on it. The tank is pretty tall so I figured the 80 would work better. Link to comment
pico1
the 80* cover 18" square and the 120* cover 24" square Link to comment
umax5555
Keep an eye on the return hose connection to the tank. My first one leaked. We went to the lfs that I bought the tank from and they pulled another one from a tank they had just set up and it leaked also. Not sure if it's a design flaw or not. It had both teflon tape and an o-ring. May try putting silicone around the threads and see if that helps. Also going to contact Red Sea. Link to comment
