Bella's Reef
Hey Everyone & welcome to our build! Quick background on this build, I had a pretty nice ADA 60p sumped setup running for about a year and simply got bored with it due to another expensive hobby and decided I wanted a fresh start on reefing. We decided on the Fusion 10 due to its size & where it fit in our living room & it would allow me to transfer over the livestock I wished to keep after breaking the old tank down... On to the build! kwsjimmy
Awesome build, I was curious if you had any issues with the power head under the return grate? Link to comment
Bella's Reef
Not that I have noticed but I am going to run a test tonight to see when it is off if it alters the flow of the rear chambers. I am also planning on selling/trading the 240 for a 425 as I accidentally ordered the 240 not the 425. Link to comment
reefernanoman
Welcome to the now huge fusion 10G club! Link to comment

Bella's Reef
I have not even looked into that, are they pricey? Maybe I will just sell this 240 to someone local and pick one up. I need to spend some time & sit down and take some pictures of the tank. Link to comment

I have one like that Yep it is a pom pom crab, I actually have two in the tank & they get along great (so far). I scored a great deal on a colony of those zoas & have been selling frags like crazy locally. I am keeping the one pictured it has about 18 polyps total on it. great tank!! love that stand too! Thanks it is from Petsmart, it was regularly $100 and I got it for $65 on sale dimensions and depth is perfect! Link to comment

They are like $56 at amazon with free 2 day shipping for prime members. http://www.amazon.com/Jebao-RW-4-Wavemaker-Contorller-130-1000/dp/B00MVI3BLO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427377124&sr=8-1&keywords=rw4+jebao Some more pictures I got around to adding to flickr. 20150317_204943 by seankirt1982, on Flickr 20150317_204946 by seankirt1982, on Flickr 20150317_204935 by seankirt1982, on Flickr 20150126_185217 by seankirt1982, on Flickr 20150325_201857 by seankirt1982, on Flickr Wow, you got two BTA's in there? be careful with the power heads, since they look very close to your nems. Since you went the BTA route, I strongly suggest the MP10 route with the foam guard to avoid catastrophe. Link to comment
Bella's Reef
I actually have 3 total and none of them move at all, the rose is a good 4+ inches away or more from the powerhead. I think I am going to stick with the 240 for now with the stock pump turned all the way up, everything seems very happy & I stay on top of water changes and no signs of cyano either. Link to comment
teenyreef
Looks great so far! I love those pics of the nems Link to comment
ReeferJohn
I'm contemplating putting a BTA in my fusion 10. Have you had any issues with them moving and stinging your corals? Link to comment
Bella's Reef
The Rose & Tri-Color were attached to the rocks they are on from a previous setup so I had no issues with them moving at all, the Flame came on the rock it is attached to and again no moving issues anything like that. I however waiting a good month before I started gluing frags down to the rock work & even then glued more basic things like RAD zoas etc.. I glued some Blue Magicians & Red People Eaters down on Friday and plan to continue gluing frags to the rock work. Looks great so far! I love those pics of the nems Thanks Teeny!! After seeing your Fusion 10 I definitely knew closing my old tank down and consolidating to this tank would be a great option! I ended up loosing all of my Frogspawn and Torch during the transfer as they sat the longest before being put in but I am gaining a ton of new zoa's and palys. Link to comment
Bella's Reef
Picked up some new frags over the past week, I need to get some updated pictures taken & posted. Link to comment

Huffy
In your first post you mention using the second chamber as a fuge with some chaeto. How are you doing this? I want to do this with my second chamber but am not sure where to start! Link to comment
Bella's Reef
I just have some dead sps & frogspawn skeletons in the bottom of the middle chamber with chaeto and a light on it, pretty basic and straight forward. In your first post you mention using the second chamber as a fuge with some chaeto. How are you doing this? I want to do this with my second chamber but am not sure where to start! Link to comment
