Congrats, the top down shots are fantastic.

Did you just remove the cover for the shots or do you leave it open top? How do you keep the firefish in. I've had some jump in a 24" tall tank with eggcrate on top.

Did you just remove the cover for the shots or do you leave it open top? How do you keep the firefish in. I've had some jump in a 24" tall tank with eggcrate on top.

I have the PicO mesh cover that I put on when not home. When I am home, it's open top and they never jump. In the beginning, they would hide a lot but they are always out now, especially when they see me close by. They know who feeds them =).

Your tank is beautiful and hearing you talk about your trials and setbacks gives me the determination to keep plugging away at my tanks. Sooner or later i hope to put it all together as you have done.
