CrazyEyes
The 75g went off to it's new home today so, it's on to something different. New tank is a 34g solana which I will be receiving Friday. I feel like I'm doing this in reverse (going from a sumped tank to an AIO). The tank is going to be a bare bottom (duh ) SPS tank. I am planning on a very light bioload, I am thinking about just a real nice pair of designer clowns, probably picassos or mochas, I will probably also add some cool inverts like coral banded shrimps. For lights I am simply taking half the LEDs I was going to use for my 75g and stick them in one of Rapids premium enclosures. Still unsure about how I am going to the aquascape but I'm sure it will come to me once I have the tank. This is all new to me so any ideas on equipment or livestock will be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic of the tank still setup at the sellers house (I am literally just using the tank, stand and equipment, all the sand, rock, fish and coral are being left behind). http://s27.photobucket.com/user/DrftNme/media/10850513_900723646614121_670461664_n_zpsaad120df.jpg.html'> I also picked up an mp10es tonight from a local member. http://s27.photobucket.com/user/DrftNme/media/10393741_901835143169638_4020171655312802888_n_zps7a1e59cf.jpg.html'> Lets get this part started. Smithjm5
Just was looking at you 75 build thread lol, this better be awesome! Link to comment
CrazyEyes
I sure hope so man. So the deal is basically, the apartment was kind of a little unsure about the 75g being there. They weren't saying it needed to go but they weren't extremely thrilled at the same time. Sort of the reason for the downgrade. Link to comment

CrazyEyes
Just messing around with the rock I have, I really like BRS reef saver rock, it's so easy to fit together. Did this real quick. I kind of like it. http://s27.photobucket.com/user/DrftNme/media/10863497_901886989831120_503604659_n_zpsfab8f4ce.jpg.html'> Link to comment

CrazyEyes
I took the arch out and moved the two pieces together, which I think I like more. I want to see how it looks in the tank before bonding the rocks together but I'm a stupid clumsy #### and don't want to scratch the glass while moving the rock in and out of the tank. http://s27.photobucket.com/user/DrftNme/media/10859454_901892593163893_2101774502_n_zps5f0a3b65.jpg.html'> Link to comment

NirvanaandTool
Ahh apartments. Been there, done that. Solana is a fun tank. Great size for a cube, you'll really like it. I like the arch better but second scape isn't bad either. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
Might just sell the brs rock and look for some pukani. Link to comment
Smithjm5
That would be cool, or maybe some tonga branches? Link to comment
CrazyEyes
I actually thought about tonga branch also. I'll have a better idea once I get the tank in front of me. Link to comment
Smithjm5
I'm debating on how i'm gonna do my scape in my 65...It's 24" tall so I was thinking about something like tonga branches to get a more vertical scape. How tall is the solona? Link to comment
CrazyEyes
20" tall. I just actually sold the brs rock so I'm going to be on the look out for pukani. I'd order it from brs but they're out of stock. Link to comment

I'd order it from brs but they're out of stock. You may have to let the Pukani cook in a bucket for a while, its renowned for phosphate...which put me off geting it. Great looking rock, but wasn't sure I could put up with the extra hassle. Link to comment
Arkayology
What's up yo. Thinking maybe a sweet bonsai style aquascape for this thing actually. Bonsai? That's so 2k-late. Don't you know it's all about floating aquascape now? Link to comment
CrazyEyes
Whatever I go with, I know it'll be minimalistic, there is nothing I hate more than a tank crammed with rock. Might also checkout marco rock. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
You and that damn stand of yours, now I'm like well I should build a stand, but then I have this one that's coming with the tank, well maybe I'll sell, not sure anyone will want it. Glad to have you on board. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
25lbs of marco key largo ordered, should be more than I need but atleast it gives me more options. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
Got the tank today. I need to clean it up, I told the previous not to worry about cleaning it as I would probably would have cleaned it again anyways. So I'm going to pickup some vinegar and magic eraser and get to getting on this thing. Still unsure if I want to built a stand or not. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
Not going to lie, these stands are kind of crappy. Definitely building a stand for this thing. And think I might run sand in the tank, wait what? Yeah I really want a leopard wrasse again. Link to comment
