doody
So it hardens in the water, but can you actually use it underwater? Do I make sense? If so, where do you get it? Link to comment
saltwater-rookie
it's green or purple and has a center (looks like a caremel chew) you kneed and mix it together to activate it. Yes you can use it in the water, it takes a hour or so to harden but is sticky enuff to keep stuff together until its completely hard. At an LFS, the purple looks like coraline algea. doody
Is there a name or do I just ask for two part putty? Link to comment
yOyOYoo
Aquamend is a type of aquarium epoxy 2 part putty. Got it at home depot for $3.95 Link to comment
soup_er_man
Super glue gel works really well. You can get that for about $2-$4. It's easier if you can take out what you are glueing for a few seconds but it will work underwater too. I glued some GSP's to a rock last night, took the rock out, patted it dry, put on the glue, put on the GSP's, waited a few seconds and then put them back in the tank. Good luck Soup Link to comment

doody
My dad just told me he has some marine goop. Anyone know about it? Link to comment
EtOH_is_good
marine goop won't work. needs to cure out of the water. Link to comment
Cellenzweig
Epoxy won't really stick corals to rock - especially softies. It's more for sticking rock to rock. Link to comment
