willyboy Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Chalices do not have tentacles like that. In my experience, LPS corals are very hard to ID when they are babies. I once had two torches hitchhike on my LR and they were the size of tic-tacs when I first noticed them. It's either blastomussa or micromussa. Make sure to update as they grow. And yes the others are cup corals. Link to comment

I took a blue light to the rock after lights out and there are two of these guys next to each other. The second one is smaller and right under a zoa. Link to comment

Had these on one of my snails shells for about a month, freaked out thinking they were aptasia, they went away and haven't seen them since, my guess was they were hydroids but not sure.
