spectre308
I recently harvested some Red Tree sponge frags from the wild, off of a floating dock. I placed them into quarantine, and they were doing fine. Now, 2 of the 5 have developed a nasty looking white film / scum over parts of their stalks, and smell like absolute rotten death. I disposed of them as to try and keep the quarantine tank as free of nastiness as I can. Anyone have a clue whats going on with these frags? I've obtained yellow and red sponge frags before and have never witnessed this sort of bizarre, foul smelling crud before. If another one comes down with this mystery scum, I'll get a few pictures and edit them into this post. Kinda kicking myself for not taking pics before disposal . Link to comment
