As wish list. I need a tang I know I will have one maybe 2 but I think I am sticking to one since its a smaller tank. ( this one will be one $$$$ fish cause I need something everyone doesn't have so no hippos and yellows and purples and koles.) 1 or a pair of leopard wrasses Group of anthias That's all I know I will have for sure Here's what I want but will get fish 5-0 Harly tusk (I know the risk of keeping in a reef and I know it need a bigger tank which my parents said they will upgrade me when I need a and a slow growing so a year or 2 till then) Copper banded butterfly same as harly of than this one could be kept in a 120 forever. Achilles tang same as above but would be last thing into tank and I have high flow and I know a 150 or 180 would be better. And it would be the only tang then. And has been done by a lot of people in a 120 Please don't tang police me Photos of tank come later I am going to bed I have been battling to 1.024 for 3 hours. Link to comment
Andynco Posted August 19, 2013 Author Share Posted August 19, 2013 Its now cycling! Since its all dry rock and sand. I took The filter floss from my nanocube and put it in the baffles in the sump. Then I took the sponge from my nanocube and washed it in saltwater. Then took the nasty salt and poured it in the tank other than the fish poop. FTS Link to comment
Andynco Posted August 20, 2013 Author Share Posted August 20, 2013 Everything was cruising till I turn on the skimmer and it kept flooded the cup so my Dad and I just held it up for a min or two and it went down so we had to build a stand its almost done but it stinks cause they say it should be in 7-10 inches of water it's in 9.5 right now but it doesn't flood in 7-8 so it's getting a stand. Andynco Posted August 21, 2013 Author Share Posted August 21, 2013 Ok it's been 3 day and there's a algae bloom on the sand I think it's diatoms or brown cyano well I am going to sound like everyone one who has setup a tank is it even possible to be cycled cause Ammonia is <.25 Nitrate and nitrite 0 Ph 8.3 But I am going to say its still cycling I just thought I would see something by now and the algae is probably from my light cause my parents like the tank on with lights anyway there's nothing in it Link to comment

And got a couple coral and a clam. Don't worry there in my Nanocube. I got all of these just for this tank. Fish: Flame wrasse 2 b&w clowns Midas blenny Coral beauty angel These are in there now And all my coral I am trying to decide if I can squeeze one more fish in then don't add anything for a couple weeks. The 1 fish is a powder blue tang about 4 inches. What do you think? Link to comment
Andynco Posted September 6, 2013 Author Share Posted September 6, 2013 Well I kinda added two more fish. A powder blue tang and a cleaner wrasse both are eatting and doing great no ich! I am taking a break from adding fish for a while since I have 7 fish now. I am now working on the clean up crew since the one I have now is small. I am going to the LFS tomorrow or Saturday to check it all out. I need some more coral but I am out of budget out now since lacrosse season starts in a week. Link to comment

I am about the order from reefcleaners.org a heavier clean up crew. My fish so far: Powder blue tang Africa cleaner wrasse Flame wrasse 2 B/W clowns Coral beauty angelfish Midas blenny Only a few more fish I want on my list Here some of the fish I am looking at. Before you bash this here's my facts.... One this fish was catch by a private driver has been in copper for 3 weeks and prazipro .... Has had no signs till today so it's stress cause I switch the light setting he was freaking out. Eats still so it's all good my reefcleaners order is coming tomorrow I will make a video and get pics. And to top that some of my fish have a White dusty coat in there slime coat I have not idea it doesn't really match up with any diseases. It looks like the white things that float in the water. any ideas? I haven't add anything to my tank in a month. my flame wrasse shows no signs but the clowns and angel do.. I know I have ich in my tank but I am not worried about that. This powder coat is weird my first thought was marine velvet but i hadn't added anything in a month and isn't marine velvet happen really fast? any help would be awesome! I am trying to get pics. All the fish eat and swim find. I am mostly worried cause I was going to add some fish but I won't till I know whats going on...... Link to comment
