For those who don't know me.
My name is Andy a 17 year old teen reefer.
I have 2 years months of reef keeping.
And this is my new build since I moved from Denver,Co back to Mckinney,Tx (My real hometown).
So there's no reason not to go bigger! That is the whole point of the title B.A.T AKA (Big A** Tank).

I went to a masc meeting to day (local forum) and a the host had one wp40 on a 240 gallon cube and it was making a 1 inch short pulse wave super powerful and a great price.

update:

My parents and I keep jumping around on tank sizes.

I think we found middle ground a DSA 190 its 60Lx27Hx27W Still not 100% sure but its something

I should know in like a week or so I will keep you guys posted

I got the tank ordered! Deep Sea Aquatics 190 gallon 60x27x27 PVC Bottom, black back, black silicone 36 tall stand 15 inch canopy with three front opening doors

Hey Guys,

Just a little update:

I went and got a 40 gallon breeder from petco $1 a gallon sale and am making a sump out of it.

And save some money.

It's almost 5 weeks since I ordered the tank it should be here anytime.

Went and bought tropic Eden reeflakes 4 bags.

yet again a update!!!

I just placed a order for two buckets of Red Sea Coral Pro salt.

And T-Track to mount my AI SOLs in canopy.

I am about to setup a QT a 20L it should be ok for a while.

The sump is coming together pretty nice i am using that 40B and .220 inch acrylic. I took a 4 inch hole saw and made a filter sock tray.

Well next Tuesday it will be at the LFS where I work! Can't wait I still got perp work to get done like a sump ,molding behind the tank, water making and sand washing

Well the deal fell through on my tank!

So I did a quick Craigslist search and boom! And I found a planet aquarium euro braced 120 with 40 inch tall stand and canopy.

So long story short I went and got it and have cleaned it up today and going to finish the sump and plumping tomorrow. I am hoping to start filling this beast up late Monday night.

It's that time to work on a stocklist. Come on guys just post what fish you would put in here and the clean up crew you would use too!

Well I failed the Monday hope by a long shot.

But I think tomorrow is the day that this big boy gets water.

Well in the last couple days my dad and I got the sump done and painted the inside of the stand, since there was some small water damage.

Now What's left is washing sand and rock.

And putting DJ power strips in and plumping.

Well I took forever to aquascape so I know tomorrow is fill day for sure pics come tomorrow

I would have been setting this thing up like 4 days ago but I painted the inside of stand white.

and couldn't make up my mind on rock work.

now for the best news I found someone who's a hobbyist who sells fish that he QTs and great pricing.

Are you going to keep this simple or are you planning on adding anything strange to the tank, like a mangrove tree?

Ya I am a only child so my parents like my hobby so I am greatful my parents support me.

and its a pic of the tank filling so no mangrove tree but a cool idea.
