drtybacn Posted October 9, 2013 Author Share Posted October 9, 2013 So I started the cycle on the 29g and I'm using dried rock. I forgot how nasty it smells when first cycling dry rock. All the dead stuff decomposing. Yuck! I got plenty of rock. Too. I can't see the bottom of my tank. I really don't know how much is in there but I guessing around 40 pounds or more. I plan on keeping it this way and not use any sand. Also going this weekend and picking up a phosphate reactor. I've never used a phosphate reactor before. So should I use the pr while the tank is cycling? Link to comment
drtybacn Posted October 10, 2013 Author Share Posted October 10, 2013 I noticed that one of my peppermint shrimp molted last night. Plus my aiptasia is being removed some how.............. HUM... Must be the peppermint shrimp. I hope they start attacking some of the bigger ones. I've notice all the small ones are gone. Link to comment

So I ended up with 2 montipora, Supernatural and some other that Im not sure of. It has red polyps and you can see that its purple too. I also got a few red mushroom 0 Link to comment
