Kornyam
Hi everyone, I got a ball of chaeto from my LFS for a HOB fuge, and this stuff was mixed in with it. Its in my display right now. Any idea what it is? Link to comment
metrokat
Caulerpa Serrulata If you don;t want it everywhere suggest you put it in the sump. Those runners make it hard to remove from rocks when it takes a foothold. Link to comment
Kornyam
Will do, thanks. Is this one of the caulerpa that has a chance of going sexual? Link to comment
keydiver
It actually looks more like caulerpa brachya (not sure of the spelling on that one). Serrulata is thicker and has more definition in the little spines on the side of the blade. This macro does grow quick but is great at nutrient export. To avoid it all going sexual, but the horizontal rhizome so only a small portion goes sexual in the chance that it decides to. Link to comment
