duganderson
I have an unidentified thing on my rockwork in my display in my 28 g. cube. I did not know what it was so I posted it on the identification page. It is about 1/2 inch tall. Someone responded that they thought it was Halimeda. Does this look like Halimeda (in middle of attached photo)? If so, which type? Is this a good macro to have in my display? Will it spread out of control on my rock or is it easy to manage, pull out, etc. if it's spreading too much? Will it likely cause problems in my tank (go sexual, bother corals or fish, etc.)? Any other details about this would be appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment

Ok....I don't have a decent camera but I'll try to borrow one. Any thoughts about this regardless of what type of Halimeda it is OR does the specific ID matter related to what it will do in my tank?
