Arkayology
[quote name="Seiryoku" post="4374576" timestamp I have good luck keeping them Why are they best left in the ocean? They are hard to get to eat normally. If yours eats frozen and is healthy, the n you are lucky. Link to comment

Arkayology
Nice pics of the fish. Got any coral pics? This one came into the LFS fat and healthy and eats mysis/brine like a clownfish, guess I did get lucky. Very cool. Link to comment
BeardedReeferLLC
Nice fish man. +1 photos. Link to comment
Seiryoku
All I have in there other than the fish is a maxi mini anemone and four small ricordea that I picked up recently. The maxi mini was a funky brown/burgundy color at the LFS under very poor lighting. Decided to try it under my Radion which is working out nicely so far, coloring up green and yellow. The rics were small buy 3 get 1 fee types, hoping they grow fast for me. Will try to upload pics tomorrow after a water change (never got to my water change last week). Going to mod a reactor tonight for biopellets! Link to comment
Seiryoku
Got the replacement parts for my skimmer today! Will install them when I get home this evening and hopefully all will be well. Link to comment
Seiryoku
Replacement parts didn't fix the problem Here are some cell phone photos though...fed just before taking these, don't mind all of the specs in the water. Link to comment
Seiryoku
Biopellets are still running strong in the modified TLF 150 with a MJ900, going to add another 1/4 of the total volume later today. Took my remaining two BRS Deluxe reactors off of my return pump, using a MJ1200 instead. Tired of the flow through the reactors changing (slowing down) and causing my overflow box to fill up and surface skimming stopping. Only thing that will do that now is the filter sock, which makes it the perfect change indicator. Cleaner wrasse is doing fine too, other than a little bullying from the male clown (dude is an ass), eats mysis at every feeding and has a nice plump belly. Can sort of see him in this picture. Geometric Pygmy Perchlet, first time I've been able to photograph it since adding it to the tank and probably the 4th time I've seen it at all since adding. Link to comment

Seiryoku
Everything is looking good. Thanks Dealing with a little algae problem, probably due to severely overfeeding, biopellets should help out once they get going. Can't help myself though, like having fat fish Assuming everything balances out ok once the biopellets fully take hold I plan on adding coral shortly after. Link to comment

Seiryoku
My maxi mini anemone scooted down the rock it is on and tried to murder my ricordea on the sand! Link to comment
Squared
Is your hawkfish nice? I've been hesitant to add any small wrasse or gobies to my tank because I'm not sure how aggressive they can be.. Link to comment
Seiryoku
Is your hawkfish nice? I've been hesitant to add any small wrasse or gobies to my tank because I'm not sure how aggressive they can be.. With the exception of taking a few shots at my cleaner shrimp in the very beginning, the longnose hawk has been completely passive towards everything. It perches in a few different areas seemingly always waiting to be fed. It eats everything I put in the tank which so far has been various flakes, pellets, frozen mysis/brine/muscles/prime reef, etc. Link to comment
Seiryoku
Here are some macro shots, they are unedited and taken freehand with full flow on. Link to comment
Seiryoku
My maxi mini anemone scooted down the rock it is on and tried to murder my ricordea on the sand! Turns out is is working on splitting. Any idea how long it takes them to finish once started? I can see what seems to be a second mouth already formed/forming. Link to comment
Seiryoku
I've been told by Jeremy at Coralvue that there are about 150 POV DC1 skimmers out there and only 3 (including mine) have the problem that mine has... Link to comment

pimp4cheddar
Just read all 12 pages. Build is going good!!! But I don't understand why everybody is turning against you? I'd be pissed if a tank that was custom made was this shitty'ness of quality...wtf! I'm surprised you didn't lawyer up really quick just to get this resolved and refunded. Either way good luck with the tank and hopefully all the negative thoughts go away as everything gets settled in. Link to comment
GroundedHeavenBird
I too read all 12 pages, It was a very interesting read. I actually sign up to this site because I couldn't stand one of the post here. There a long post by "ajmckay" that seem a bit odd. He took the time to link several other threads, state how the defectives were acceptable and said something about having a husky that made no sense at all. Let's talk about the tank: Custom vs Machine made. Poster aimckay is under the impression that Seiryoku was looking for value, I'm sure Lee Mar would disagree on this. Lee Mar is not value, they are a premium brand. Kia vs Lamborghini, same idea here. Let's talk about the stand: Lee Mar vs IKEA, Walmart, my next door neighbour. The inside of that stand looks like a bird house I made in the 5th grade. The craftsmanship is on par with Ned Flanders house after the town of Springfield rebuild his home, youtube that episode. Let's talk about loyalty: LFS vs Lee Mar. How are people not pointing out the fine work of his LFS and the loyalty Seiryoku has for them? A 400 mile trip to drop off a sub par tank and stand? I can't even get my LFS to answer their phone. To Seiryoku, Keep your head up, the longer Lee Mars refuses to fix their sloppy work, the longer their reputation will in question. What do you think people will see when they google Lee Mars reviews? That what I did, and I end up reading this. Link to comment
