AquaticEngineer Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 I've toyed with the idea, but ended up doing an algae scrubber instead. I will likely include an algae display tank off my new holding system but I dont think the algae will handle the bio load by itself. Link to comment

I've brought in a bunch of different algae to try out myself but never bothered with high output light over it, other than the stuff that I grow out in my tigriopus cultures (Which mostly get sunlight) I'll have a tank with a focused 50w LED light about a foot off the water for my Green anemones and Aggregating anemones, so I will try out a few kinds of algae in there and see how they do.
