My parents bought the camera because my sister and I kept using up lots of film rolls on our old camera. After a couple of years I started experimenting with the settings. Although it's not the best of cameras, and I would really like a DSLR, if you know how to use it and have a good idea of what you're doing you can actually take some pretty cool photos with it Link to comment

When i zoom with my point and shoot it just doesnt focus properly and the pics get blurred and some of your photos look like dslr photos where the background is blurred and the item of focus is clear. how are you getting that effect?
