swayd
Thanks! Im def going for a minimalist look, I just have to find a way to hide the skimmer pump and return lol. Im going to try to take my time and scape it just right, using all those acrylic rods and such. Suspend them like those mountains in avatar. You're welcome That would be SICK! and I have the Hallelujah mountain zoas haha! Link to comment
JoelRHale
I mean, I was half joking. I'm not sure how you'd do it, but that could really look cool. Definitely something new. Link to comment
swayd
Yeah that would be a pain in the arse! I cant wait to see what marcorocks sends me! Link to comment
GregBox
I mean, I was half joking. I'm not sure how you'd do it, but that could really look cool. Definitely something new. I say do it,use Pond foam to affix large Mag floats to the back of the rocks. Then you can "lift" rocks with the magnets holding them to the glass..... how hard could it be (Jeremy Clarkson Top gear reference) Link to comment
JoelRHale
Yeah that would be a pain in the arse! I cant wait to see what marcorocks sends me! You think my project was a cake walk? There's a reason no one has done it but if you did it would be pure sex. Link to comment
swayd
LMAO, I was thinking the same thing but the bottom half of the tank would be all shaded out and would only be suitable for NPS coral. A foam back wall with a couple large islands would look cool. Link to comment
JoelRHale
Make it BB, cut a hole in the bottom of your stand and put an light underneath. Link to comment
swayd
ROFL I was thinking of going BB tho, but I like sand. Link to comment
JoelRHale
Haha I got you, I think that idea would work better with a singular piece of lr in a pico... Walmart contest people take notes! Link to comment
swayd
I will keep that in mind when I re-do my pico. Link to comment

swayd
Oh and I still get to go pick out my 1 piece of LR for the cycle! When my box of rocks gets opened in front of my fam they are going to look at me hella crazy hahaha like "you paid how much for a effin box of rocks!" Im still deciding on lighting! I cant decide whether to just keep my 150W or go DIY LEDs or just keep my 150 til I save up enough to buy an AI nano? I think I will start cycling on Friday wooohoooo. Link to comment
swayd
All 11 pieces were bubble wrapped very nicely. A big thanks to MarcoRocks for great customer service and outstanding product! Scape I hope to somewhat reproduce. Link to comment
