Bishop
if you are already doing 20% water changes and have nothing that the h2o2 will have a negative effect on then go for it. After the algae is gone, pick up a nice macro algae. How many hours a day is your light on? Link to comment

irondragon013
I have battled this since I started my tank and have given up on flat out defeating it. A good skimmer, regular water changes, and a turbo snail keep my tank looking clean. If I slack on water changes it comes back and will take months to recede. Honestly for me it is an indicator of how I'm doing on water quality and since it is controllable, not so much a problem. It is always likely that a new coral you bring home will have more on it anyways so I stopped stressing about so called bad algae. Link to comment
