IBall get a 1 Sand sifting starfish (Astropecten Polycanthus) Keeps sand extreamly clean always. active mostly at night. reef safe and cheap to buy. Im very happy I have one. even in my 10gal I dont have to feed it. Ive had it now 8 months or so. Link to comment

Example: I went to Canadain Tire yesterday, asked some guy in his late 40s where the whole house filters or RO water systems are. His responce excatly was " Umm what are you talking about." It's because I'm too cheap to get a RO/DI filter, and distilled is the next best. :shrug: Life is hard. /sarcasm I'm really considering going and buying 180 gallons of distilled to set up my tank.. I will then proceed to continue making RO/DI for water changes and top offs. I mean to even make 180 gallons of water I'd have about 700g of waste.. that'll be at least $20 in water/sewer costs.. and if it happens to jack my bill over 3000g / mo.. I'll really pay for it.
