That's a pest organism. The best course of action would be to manually remove it and place it in a blender. You know the rest... ;)

I believe that's a pest. your best bet is to add dry water, increase salinity and decrease lighting for a few weeks...

I think the tank is a bit small for it, but I hear they like to burrow into deep sand beds. They tend to leave anaerobic deposits behind so be careful and make sure you have a good cleanup crew to deal with the waste.
