ReefYourself
Hello everyone, Ive been testing my tank with a salifert alk test kit and a Seachem calcium test kit for almost a year now. I told myself that one day I would change to a Salifert Calcium test kit. Before the change parameters: Alk: 2.9meq/L Cal: 410ppm I recently purchased a salifert calcium test kit....and to my suprise....CALCIUM READ 470ppm!!!! Now, Ive been 2-part dosing for almost 1 year. I looked on reef chem calculator...and see that Cal and Alk are balanced at what is stated above. I looked at another site: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/nov2002/chem.htm (Solving alk and cal problems)...and Cal 470 with alk @ 2.9meq/L shows that there is an inbalance Any help??? I really don't know which test kit to believe!!!!!! Link to comment
