Overtkill
I am planning a nano tank in the next few weeks (hopefully), and im more interested in having a reef...while my wife's only concern (at this point) is having a clownfish. My question is, what is the smallest tank that would be safe housing a clown? I have been wanting a 2.5 or 5.5g tank, but i dont think it would be a good idea for a fish. Am i correct in thinking a 10g would be the safer bet? Link to comment
clownfish4
There is a good article on this under the info tab. I think that I read that clowns need at least a 7 gallon. Link to comment
msf
I had a small false percula in an Eclipse 3g for about 4 months... To be honest, I felt bad having her in such a small tank she just looked bored. She and I are much happier in a 10g. <----This is her (Daphne) Link to comment
seabass
A pair of False Percs are even more fun. A 15-gallon tank would be suitable for them. I know it’s not exactly a 5.5-gallon, but it might be worth considering. Link to comment
