Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 thats the problem lol you can't see it when they're open, plus it probably moved by now... check your older pic if you have it. it could be a sundial which you do not want...I also found a sun-dial snail on my zoas. What's your opinion on the pump, I was considering replacing my MJ1200 return pump on my NC with the 1200 because it only uses 8W. Your coral selection is nice. Link to comment
bulldogpet Posted March 11, 2010 Author Share Posted March 11, 2010 Thanks for the kind words , Yes I am using a Pico Evolution pump and I am very happy with it. It provides plenty of flow for my tank. I would replace the Maxijet 1200 with a Evolution 1200. 20W vs 8W is a no brainer provided it fits in your 12g pump chamber. I think you will be very happy with it. Dr. Foster & Smith has them on sale right now. Good luck hope this helps ! Link to comment

bulldogpet Posted March 21, 2010 Author Share Posted March 21, 2010 Update , The tank is doing great I just added an ATO as you can see in my FTS the large pain killer medicine bottle works for the time being as a snail guard for my float switch. I am going to try and find an old film case I have one somewhere around here just have not had time to look for it. I picked up some Zoanthids since the last FTS.
