By keeping the tank cleaner, there is less of a chance for corals to RTN. The small UV LED inside the unit filters the water killing harmful microbes like those that cause ich. So I'd say that's a yes. The dock's behind my rock wall. Not terribly interesting, but it hides well. Link to comment
