xcracer
what about using stainless BBQ skewers.. would help with longevity, as i would suspect the skewer to be the weakest link... and then the razor next.. and you sould use the steel skewers over and over.. IF you can get the Aquamed to break off Link to comment
FiReBrEaThInGCuTtLeFiSh!XD
So I made one today and it works great, although it would've been better if I had titled the blade a little more like in OP's picture. Don't have any lone bbq skewers around so I just used a chopstick. Its ready to go as soon as the aquamend dries. Link to comment
SmittyCoco
I have been using skewers for my pico tank as a tool since 08 ! Never attatched a razor to it though ! Great idea ! Link to comment

NVTE
Nice DIY Mew. Hope you don't mind I posted some of my 99cent Store Aqua Tong $5 for 100 blades (Harbor Freight store) $1 Rubble Band or pick some in the house. Easy to change out old rusty Blade in second. Been using it awhile now. Link to comment
1105
^ almost the same idea as that. I used to use a PVC pipe with a notch cut in it by a hacksaw at an angle. The thickness of the razor blade was slightly larger than the notch cut in the pipe so it was held firmly in place and easy to change out at the same time. Link to comment
