bluefunelement
looks good with coverage of the black acrylic - and plenty of cave/outcrop for a pico - looks great! Link to comment
Doc Frye
I really think the 'scape is very nice!!! Link to comment
jokercykoe
Love the scape. Gives you a lot of room for corals. Link to comment

bluefunelement
Your rockscape is like a mini version of my NC24 - you're making me think of re-doing my pico similar to yours - I even have the same light - imitation is the sincerest form of stalking Hows your temps though - do you need a fan? I'm thinking of adding a 2" fan into the Dual Satellite. Link to comment
nosser
Thanks everyone for the compliments! nice scape! some would say to much rock. but il like it!!!! Yeah I was wondering if I had too much rock in there! I'm thinking of adding a 2" fan into the Dual Satellite. Sweet man... As far as temp I am running an iceprobe chiller so the my temp swing from 79.3 to 79.9 and that's it! I have never used a chiller of any sort but I think I like it! Link to comment

MGDMIRAGE
Looks great! Does your float switch actually work like that with magnet? I had tried to mount mine with a magnet and the float stayed stuck on, it's a great idea i was bummed that mine wouldn't work. The magnet i tried was a lot bigger though maybe that was the problem. It's funny you say that since I just experienced the same thing! I originally had it extended out away from the magnet but since I moved it to this tank I had to shorten it because of the lack of space. Now I swapped it magnet out for some suction cups. I also have finished my little cheesy back tank cover and I will throw some pictures up once I can reset my password for photobucket. Link to comment
nosser
alright so I finally was able to get some pictures loaded in my photobucket! I lack the skills of a great wood worker but I did what I could! My dad is a perfectionist and criticized my design and workmanship when he saw it so I may get around to making a better one. I admit that I didn't really put the time and effort into it but it works for now. I used 3/8" MDF with some scrap wood for support. I used a couple small nails and a hole mess of wood glue. It's just to hide the messy wires and fuge portion of the tank so I made it simple to remove when I need to get back there. Here is the finished product sorry for the bad lighting My measurements were a little off and the whole thing should have 1/2 shorter but I can fix that later! Link to comment

nosser
Alright well I have bought some corals but I still need to order my clean up crew from reefcleaners. Do I have to ship them overnight? Well I will update on my price list later tonight but I wanted to update you with some pictures! a green mushroom I picked up as a $5 frag. a sexy just walked all over it and ruined my shot! I have 4 sexies but here is a shot of 2 This was a $10 frag at my LFS. Here is standard issue xenia and another sexy Here is the green Palys with some orange-yellow zoas. The 2 pieces were a $5 frag as well, I just broke the rock. Same thing here a sexy walked right over the Zoas before the shot! And the red Mushroom i took from my old 10g that I recently took down. and a full tank shot. Link to comment

nosser
nice try nosser! i know ur hiding the plumbing into ur 500 gallon refugium !!...................................................................................................................................j/k lookin good ha yeah right! I'm not rich, it's a 320g fuge! I will update pics of the rear soon. Can't do it tonight I have an 1 1/2 presentation tomorrow for Sam's Club and there's 200+ peeps expected! And thank you everyone for the compliments. I considered rearranging the rocks since my sexies kept getting sucked into the fuge area since the rock came right up to the slots. My wife said the one sexy was banished to the back since she read that sexies should be kept in odd numbers and I have four. I just moved that one flat rock in the back down a little and it seems to be okay. I really don't want to lose one and I don't want to add another so it will have to work. Link to comment
1337TANKHAX
That red shroom is the most round shroom I have ever seen haha. And I was supposed to go to a swap this Saturday in Hayward with Kraylen, but I have work. I'm heading over to his place sometime this week though. He's keeping a couple of my frags, and he's hooking me up with some shrooms. Link to comment

Nice on having a hook up on frags. I need to join a club or something since I don't have any friends in the game... yet Link to comment
scooternerd
thats because under the MH it didnt need to open all the way to get it energy. the shrooms in my pico are huge compared to when i had them in my 40 Link to comment

Just an update, my CUC was shipped today from Reefcleaners as well as some macros... I want to order some more stuff but I want to wait for my CUC first. We'll see how that goes. I also took a few new pictures... Here is the back of my tank... Lots of wires! I'm working on fixing that! It's a bad angle ScooterNerd can't see the 300g! another shot of my green palys. Not bad for a $5 frag. And this was probably my favorites from tonight... A rear end shot of my sexy! Link to comment
nosser
I updated my first post and my budget with my CUC and some macros from Reef Cleaners. Good stuff I actually got more than received but I did add them to my budget. I did also receive the macro for $0.01 and I charged it as $2.00 I also had time to make a Fuge light but I am too lazy to take pictures of it so I will show that later. Here is a few of my macros... This is the penny macro... Here is the fire fern... I only ordered them since I didn't want to ship just snails and I never bought any macros before except for cheato.. Here's what I made my refugium light out of... some 66500K bulbs, a clamp-on work light and a grey box thing from home depot. Link to comment
nosser
man, its that time again to update my tank shot! I have been so busy with other work and the wife, it's been crazy! On a side note I bought a new car. A Nissan Cube! Haha fun daily driver. Anyways I love threads with alot of pictures and even thought my photos lack the color I still like to take alot! I need a macro lens! I'm shooting a Canon Xti with a Tamron 28-70 2.8 and some $0.01 macro tubes!! First off here is the Fuge light I made. I used a common DIY from the forums Here is a neon candy cane I picked up. My camera doesn't do it justice plus I really want to change my lights now! One of the Superman muchrooms A blurry shot of my Blueberry Morphs A shot of the Ric and leather coral and a bunch of random shots! These macro tubes suck! They were a penny with $6 shipping from ebay and there are no electronics in it so I cannot make adjustments to anything! Link to comment
