Kimberly63
Aww thanks guys - that means a lot! I will be having some new additions soon as well. The only problems I've been having so far is just some brown algae on the glass but that's about it. I'm hoping to get a new T5 fixture here within the next few months because my colors aren't what they should be. My growth is spectacular though! Link to comment
davidncbrown
Very nice! Watch the snowflake polyps, they grow like weeds and will choke out other corals. Also they drop their cloves to propagate and where they land is where you will have a new colony (one landed on the mat of my turquoise palys and grew up the stems of the polyps!) . Link to comment

Kimberly63
Cant wait to see it! Thanks! All the glass is taped up - as soon as I get my last piece of glass for the overflow, I'll have it all together. Definitely this week. You're tank looks really good Kim and awesome shot of Aaron's tailspot! Thank you! I've really been neglecting this thread. His tailspot is the cutest thing! lol he just sits in that clip and peeks out to see what I'm doing. Link to comment
lgreen
Building it yourself? That is pretty cool! Link to comment
Kimberly63
Building it yourself? That is pretty cool! yeah we'll see what happens. lol. It's 20x20x12 solid starfire cube. I'm also gonna attempt a stand as well. As soon as I figure out exactly what I want. When you plan a build from scratch top to bottom, it's hard to make decisions on everything! Link to comment
Phixion
Shallow Starfire, ehh?? Sounds like a sweet tank already Kimberly! Link to comment

Phixion
well, I'm not gonna get my hopes up just yet because I have no idea what I'm doing! lol. It's all part of the learning process. Making or envisioning your own tank is a big step, but rewarding when done well. My 10g custom AIO tank was my own design more-less as far as how the rear was designed. Link to comment
