But my digitata and birdsnest frags are doing great! My tank is pretty?? I like the pink shrooms a lot, never seen em that color! how do you like the pom pom, do you see him a lot? the yellow sps thing looks fake LOL! and i like the chalk bass, very unique! oh, and the pic of the flame hawk is hilarious, he looks like he got caught doin something!!! oh, and i don't see any pics of these beautiful dogs you say you have... Thanks much, I absolutely LOVE my pink shrooms! They reproduce faster than rabbits on viagra! The yellow SPS? You mean the tree sponge? And suprisingly I see my pom pom every night, everyone else I've talked to says they see their's maybe once a month, but he comes out every night and I give him a little mysis when I feed. Heh, the flame hawk is definitely a character, but even more-so is my female clown! She likes to imitate the flame hawk and blenny, I have NO CLUE why she does it, but she does. She will follow the bicolor around and try to back into holes like he does and its so hilarious, then she follows the hawkfish around and SITS on rocks next to him. Shes not being aggressive at all, just a very sweet lady! I'll get pics of my puppies soon, and I should be getting a Harlequin by the end of the year. Ah the perks to living in the country! ddr_phish Posted August 12, 2008 Author Share Posted August 12, 2008 Ok time to update with pictures of my Great Danes because nothing interesting is happening in my tank right now! First up is Moon, she is just over a year old and is female, extremely hyper, still very much a puppy and weighs 130 lbs. And then there is Dreamer, she is 9 years old and is really tiny for a great dane, because she was the runt of the litter when we bought her, half the size of all the other puppies and had horse fly bites all over her! Poor puppy, but after nursing her back to health for a couple months she is now 9 years old and very sweet! She only weighs 90 lbs. (which is extremely small for a Dane) but she is not malnourished or unhealthy at all. And we should be getting a male Harlequin Great Dane by the end of the year. Not for breeding purposes, all of our dogs are fixed, just because we love Danes so much! Oh and sorry the pics are so crappy, all taken from camera-phone because camera battery is dead Link to comment

I love them!!!! they are so sweet looking, with those big puppy eyes!!! also, I am glad you didn't crop their ears, they look so much better like that, not to mention it is just cruel! harlequins are my fav. when I was little, out neighbors had one with one blue eye, and one brown, and its name was Kitty! haha! I think that's where my love for big dogs stemmed, it was such a lovable dog! great pics! Link to comment
ddr_phish Posted August 13, 2008 Author Share Posted August 13, 2008 Aww thanks both of ya'll, I have some birdsnest frags growing out right now (Along with pink shrooms, rhodactis shrooms, digitata, candy canes, tubinaria, and many different types of zoas and palys) Yea we decided not to crop their ears because (like you said) it just seems so cruel, and its really hard to get them perfect, plus this way they look so much sweeter. I'll have to look around and see if I can find the picture of Moon when she was only a few weeks old, so cute! Link to comment

ddr_phish Posted August 16, 2008 Author Share Posted August 16, 2008 Thanks Lizzie! I am loving the purple and teal candycanes, I should take an updated pic of them. For some reason they are getting teal swirls on the purple parts and it looks really cool and they are growing quickly! That small teal one can from a tiny piece that was almost dead and now has made a full recovery! WooHoo! No real updates besides that, I'm broke at the moment, so no new corals right now. But when I do have some spare cash I'm buying another CUC because at 2.5 years old (which I'm not sure how long most inverts live) I don't have much of one left and I'm starting to see some algae growing on the rocks. I got some teal rhodactis shrooms, pink shrooms (feeding a pink addiction I guess?), cream candy canes, and a small tubinaria for ya. I'd be more than happy to cut some of my colonies up if ya want them too that are in my main tank. Link to comment

I'm down for a trade! Just let me know which Zoas you'd like me to frag and I'll put them on a frag plug or LR. I still gotta buy some more shipping supplies first though! Grrr...
