what's the iodine dip for?

 

I just figured it might help the traumatized flesh to heal more quickly.

I'd never fragged Acans before and it made me a little nervous to just wade right into the middle with the dremel, although that's what I'd heard everyone does.

The iodine dip made me a little less nervous!

I figured at worst it wouldn't hurt. It wasn't a super strong dip or anything.

Yes, I do love frogfish! I kept several for years and want to keep one again. They are truly unique and amazing fish. Do you currently have any frogfish?

I don't have one right now although I have kept them in the past.

I'd love to put one in my new tank I'm setting up, but we'll see how that goes.
