got2envy Posted June 16, 2008 Author Share Posted June 16, 2008 Newest FTS..went with the black background what do you guys and gals think black or blue background? I want to paint it working on just painting the back ..and upgraded my MJ900's to 1200's with the sureflow mods..also got a surface skimmer will post more pics when everything is up..I want to scrape the back clean, but there is such a nice purple coraline growing..but there is also a green film on back..heres a pic so ya can see what i am talking about..hopefully scraping the purple coraline will spread it more thanks for looking! got2envy Posted July 6, 2008 Author Share Posted July 6, 2008 ya know i had that problem and it turned out to be my top off water so i switched to distilled, i also ran chemi-pure elite and added a powerhead aimed that direction, altho mines was dinos which are a pain, they appear in the morning and disappear at night and it was my 40B haven't had the problem in my 75 thanks for looking Nick! I personally prefer the black background; it gives it more depth and makes the coral colors "pop" more. Link to comment

got2envy Posted September 23, 2008 Author Share Posted September 23, 2008 to many corals not enough space on the rocks lol this is what is on the sand: I have 2 brains..the green one inflates huge so I can't put that on the rock green mushroom rock pink chalice yellow polyps(trying to keep them from taking over the rocks) orange fungia plate large green polyps on a large rock 4 large pink/green ricordia 4 different acans on one rock- have to split these up someday i will rearrange some stuff, but for now everything looks happy Thanks for looking!
