I think that 30 gal of mine (36x12x17) placed on-end would make such a cool vertical viv for pumilios. I thought cultures were more time-consuming than that. Are "crashes" in cultures all that common? I'm not sure if my wife would allow me to deligate a cupboard to a bunch of flies... Link to comment

After a brief buffer fiasco last month (added too much of the stuff, they say "you can't overdose" and could all the carbonates to crash out of solution )X ), I finally got my numbers stabilized. parameters (tested last night): Amm/NO2/NO3/PO4 all zero SG 1.025 PH 8.0 Temp 79-81 Alk 4.0 dKH 9.6 Ca 440 I dose with Seachem Reef Complete and Reef Carbonate on alternate days, and Trace once a week. I do ~5% w/c weekly. I need to get one of physh's auto top offs and start dosing Kalk. Also, I added another bookworm bringing the total light up to 64W. Pics: Link to comment
