Diskusting Posted August 23, 2007 Author Share Posted August 23, 2007 UPDATE: I decided to go barebottom with the sand just become a detrious bed. When I took it out I couldnt beleive what was under my rock. So much detrious it was rediculous. So I went bare glass and re aquascaped. I will be moving this still so this isnt final scape. The pump is getting covered in coraline, no diatoms on glass. My clown mysteriously died. It was really healthy too. I think my hermits had something to do with it. I dont know. But I am going to be getting a yellow tail damsel. I may downgrade to a 5.5 because I will be focusing my attention on a 29g sps. Already have sump built. Bought overflow box that was extremely nice for only 40 bux. I am going to be using starboard for the bare bottom and sealing it so nothing gets under. Updated shot. Diskusting Posted March 19, 2008 Author Share Posted March 19, 2008 11 month marker I stopped all maintnance about 6 months ago and tank is still holding up well No water changes Refugium bulb burned out so no light for fuge only feed fish and top off water and occasionally scrape coraline off glass also havent change bulbs at all Link to comment
