OK, I am very guilty of not regularly updating this thread with pix/info. this post will only further incriminate me.

:o:blush::o

but regardless, here goes a Red Sea Max Full Tank Shot Timeline. It may actually be more interesting to see all the changes at once instead of having to plug through a long thread.

Hopefully, this will be inspirational to other reefers consdiering a RSM. :)

Realistically, it will probably just uncover my neurotic obsession with changing my aquascaping CONSTANTLY! :P (What's wrong with me?)

the progression:

April 30, 2007

Great pictorial history and a beauty of a tank - great job!

thanx reefmack...finally remembered the settings on my camera for best color. "underwater" and "digital macro"

RSMFTSFeb9_20092.jpg

more "red" and "warm" . the default settings (in my last post) are more "blue" and "cool"

another progression...

A camel back shrimp ate my frogspawn for lunch (right in front of me! oh the horror!)

it was reduced to a nub in april 2008

then started making a comeback in june 2008

now in Feb 2009, we are back in business!

In the Still of the night...

I am not sure which i know less about....reef keeping or photography?!? :huh:

but in an effort to further my knowledge and experience in both i offer these new pix. i played around with my settings on my camera and tried to take some long exposure shots at night. the only light is the RSM stock moonlights so you need a long exposure time to get anything to show up. I am actually pretty happy with the results of my first "night shoot"
