Skimmer running nice and producing GOOD foam. PC bulb's arrived. 10K/50 actinic running. Custom Acrylic hood in process. FTS! Link to comment

satnu Posted February 23, 2007 Author Share Posted February 23, 2007 Little update. As you can see from the post above the lights are ready to be done. I will be working on them this weekend. Going to be a great weekend to finish it up. 12-15" of snow is taking aim at the Twin Cities! I received the Quiet One 3000 yesterday. I took out the old pump, dropped(shoehorned) the new one in and..... Quiet One my BUTT! Holy cow that thing was LOUD. So I took it out and installed stock pump back in. That was a waste of 3 hours. I have started to measure a little ammonia in the tank. PH fine. CA at 375 and climbing. Link to comment

Started dripping Kalk last night. 1-2 drips per second into return chamber. 1 gallon total over 24 hours or so. Full round of tests and water change tonight. 10 Nass 15 Turbos 1 Emerald 1 Cleaner Shrimp 2 Peppermints 1 Fighting conch 1 serpent star 1 Nudi (always wanted one ) Link to comment
