the trick with peppermints is to keep them fed. if you see how much they actually eat its pretty sick. i feed mine a whole piece of krill during feeding time of my corals. the krill is almost as big as him. he's like, eating a clone of himself...

mahi mahi boy

Their inordinate capacity for raw fish is something else. He can eat a nice sized slice of fish, about the same size bait I'd use for a pinfish.

Easiest way to remove these buggers, red light darkness and a net. Anyways now there in the exile tank waiting for a mantis. But these must be the lysmata californica because they went right after my corals again once the lights were out.

Oh... peps are not a great idea. I did it, but while it got rid of the pests I wound up breaking down the tank to get rid of the murderous lil bastard months later.

Any yeah, it was a Lysmata wurdemanni.

See the Simpsons season seven "Bart-the mother" episode for an example of the slippery slope you tread when you get a shrimp to eat your pest anemones.

Maybe there is a type of gorrilla that eats shrimp?
