BEASTAAAAA

is that from that king kong song by jibbs & chamillionare?

Oh, by the way, the screw in bulbs give a very nice spectrum. at first i thought it would be pretty yellow, but they actually look really really good. great work.

Yeah I was. Umm it was really hard and annoying because I had only one bucket. And thats to mix the new water, hold the 5.5 water and the live rock. It was such a pain but the fish made it the snails/crabs made it and it seems to be fine. It took a while for the water to clear though. It was a success though.

Ya its from king kong song, but I hate jibbs. Right now those pics are of the tank with just 40w cause the 3rd bulb hasnt come yet.

Heres a pic of the tank the day after upgrade. (today)

Get yourself another bucket so you're ready to move that 10g in to the 20/29g :P

I used 4 of the screw in lights on my old 10 gallon and they worked great. Saved a lot of money going that way too.

Update:

Yes another ReAquascape. This is the last one I promise. I wanted to go for the trench look because it looks more natural and I will have more room to put my corals.

trenchrock002.jpg

No diatoms really except a little in the Refugium. Is this common? Bad?

I ordered some frags from seacrop also they will come friday the 25th.

Green Centered Zoanthid

Orange Centered Zoanthid

Blue Centered Zoanthid

Orange Zoanthid with Bright Green Skirt

Chocalate Pumpkin Zoanthid (F1)

Green Star Polyp

Green Pipe organ

Green Galaxia

Orange Green Bullseye Mushroom

And one last question. Can someone ID this green thing?

Update: Frags Added

I added the frags that I posted that I ordered above. They are extremely small though I hope they get bigger. Is there anything that wont add phosphates that will speed up the process?

The green thing is Neomeris, a calcareous algae that grows from the live rock. Very seldom invasive; very seldom a problem. Common name = "Merman's Finger", which I think is a way cool name.

I found some bubble algae on my favorite rock today. I know if you pop the bubbles it releases spores so I didnt do this. It wasnt much so what did I do other then cut the part it was on off the rock.

I hope I dont find any anywhere else.
