artarmon42
Interesting. Can you post a picture from the front? Also have you considered TWO Flos? That would get some truly "random" movement. Link to comment
nanoskimguy
I have had great luck with the Hydro Flow in my tanks also. I have thought of using 2 hydors myself, just haven't got around to it yet. My biggest issue when installing it was that it kept wanting to pop off every few hours, but some teflon or electrical tape fixes that problem easily. You should definately get a Hydor flow for these small tanks, it helps break up the "whirlpool effect" wonderfully. Nanoskimguy Link to comment

I have thought about using two, but I have only been reefing for a few weeks so I don't want to go too crazy yet. Here's a pic from the front. Not my best photo. Link to comment

reefernanoman
Hey artamon, thanks for the info on the maxijet 900 for the nano 12dx. I just installed mine today. The flow Is way better than the stock. I haven't put the hydro flo yet, because I don't know where to buy it, but I will look for it later. I just grabbed a couple of cutting pliers to cut the suction cup mounting like you did with the dremmel. Again, thank you verry much! Link to comment
Blind Tree Frog
FYI, you don't need a dremel to modify the hydor flo. I simply scored it with a knife and popped it off with my fingers. Came off cleanly. Link to comment

Draconic
Do anyone know how to attach the cassette skimmer over the intake? I don't think artarmon42 use glue because he took it off and drilled the plastic again so how do you attach it? Anyone know? Thanks. Link to comment
