SouthFlorida_Tron
I've got great water, it's super wet. My mp10 doesn't need to push much in My tiny 14, but yes, the endless AI sol settings are stressing me out! Link to comment
squirrelieygrrrl
lulz! dont let all that control get to your head! Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
Came home the other night and saw this, thought it was cute. Usually the bigger one is aggressive, so maybe the BTA getting a bit larger is allowing them to share Link to comment
Banjo
Lmao, sounds like mine. Back when I used to have my BTA, the male was allowed no where near it. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
U can see they clearly keep their distance Link to comment

SouthFlorida_Tron
Squirrelly suggested I should look into my nag causing browning out of acros, what u use? Link to comment
Banjo
What do I use for what? Mag supplement? Are you running GFO? I'd start there first to make absolutely sure you don't have phosphate problems. Otherwise maybe parameter swings. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
Already running phosban next to the CPE. Always clear (0) on the elos test kit. Nitrate update, flow seemed a bit slow, cleaned the basket out, my chaeto had grown into a solid brick... I meand solid green square slid out. So I just trimmed about half. Much better now. Damn led on the back 24/7 grows it quick! So im sayin that to say this, zero nitrates! Boom. Link to comment
Banjo
Nice! I'm almost there as well with vodka, lol. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
True. Still have trouble seeing how vodka worms but owell... To each his own. Link to comment
squirrelieygrrrl
tron, i was thinking it was an alk issue, when you stated that you were having some variance there. mg helps keep alk stable, and its the one param you arent testing for. i prefer to use kents tech m. sorry i didnt getn back to you sooner, i went to work. SouthFlorida_Tron
Thanks for that lol, I ordered a salifert kit, along with calcium n alk Link to comment
squirrelieygrrrl
<--- there, i did it for you. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
so 2nd straight morning of tests...api for now, lfs has calcium and others instock, mostly backordered everywhere else! same params two straight days....we shall see how accurate this is next to the saliferts....... wish me luck alk - 9 ph - 7.8 calium - 440 any chance my gfo could be tinkering the params? Link to comment
squirrelieygrrrl
hmm. ok, so maybe not a param swing..... the acro is encrusted right? and you did have color in it at some point right? or did it just dwindle after you bought it? gawd i cant think of another solution other than trying to move it. is it showing pe? btw, that smack was for me. so much for trying to be cute. i cant say that ive heard of that being a phenomenon with gfo. Do your params swing much throughout the day? That could be it. GFO usually won't have any influence on browning a coral out. Though it can cause RTN if added in too large of quantity. SouthFlorida_Tron
No that's not it. Everything is stable, no swings, it's gotta be the mag... I'll snap some nite time PE shots, they look great as of late, just working on color. Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
However, the BoP has a small brachial with zero PE, it's weird, it's still green which is good. Pix tomorrow. Link to comment
Banjo
If you do frequent WCs with a decent quality salt, I highly doubt it's mag. Though testing will tell. Link to comment
