Just for fun this is the little guy with all my attention... 12 days old today... on to my tank. My zenia has moved to the back wall and is getting out of hand. There is a new mushroom growing guess here as well. I'm not the only new dad... These have grown a bit as well. This was where it was fragged and now poylps have grown here. and he's a shot of my little red. He had been pretty good and is eating only frozen now. Link to comment

I did a water change and cleaned it up a bit since it has been neglected a little. I will have a video of feeding time for my little red devil this week sometime. Thanks for looking. Link to comment

nosser Posted January 12, 2010 Author Share Posted January 12, 2010 Alright update time! Well I got some new cameras. I changed my Canon Xti to a new Canon 50D and my wife bought me a Canon SD780 point and shoot. Good stuff but I was not able to use the new DSLR since the battery was being charged. Also I almost forgot about this update and I was in the middle of a water change. I was just shooting everything with a turkey baster so it's a little cloudy in the tank. Not much has changed... The baby shoom is growing and the xenia is moving through the back wall of the tank. On a side note I have a bunch of these brown looking pod things that are all over the tank. nosser Posted January 26, 2010 Author Share Posted January 26, 2010 Nothing new with the tank. these pods have really taken over the tank and I'm not so sure they are good to have. I will update more in a couple days. The xenia is growing like crazy! The little mushroom is also growing. Everything seems to be doing well but the growth has been a little slow besides the zenia. I have been so busy with work, the kids and I'm planning a trip to Hawaii with the wife so the tank has been slightly neglected. I have kept up with water changes but some algae has been getting out of control. I plan to do a water changes after this and clean it up a bit. Here is the FTS: Link to comment

nosser Posted March 16, 2010 Author Share Posted March 16, 2010 yeah with the flatworms... I have been vacuuming them up and I have made some changes to hopefully stop them. I changed my temp slightly to 76 degrees, changed my pump to a 1200 and so far they seem to be under control. I have had many tanks and have never seen flatworms before. Well... here are my 3 pictures for voting... This was my first contest and it was tough especially with my newborn son that came in December. Link to comment
