LongDoggy
Well, after 3.5 years I folded. The InTank media basket is in the mail with fresh Chemipute Elite, Purigen, and filter floss. I hope I like this thing. My argument the whole time (with myself) was over whether or not this thing is worth 50 bucks? Sure it looks well designed and clean cut, but is the value, results, and ROI there? I know people love and rave about this thing. I guess, well, I am anxiously awaiting to see the results myself... WOO HOO! Best investment you can make IMO. double your filtration for $50 bucks- cheaper than a skimmer, reactor, etc. Link to comment
LongDoggy
I've tried so many different rear chamber configurations except the InTank. I am expecting my corals to look extra happy. bioload
I agree. My inTank basket for my JBJ 30g rimless is a HUGE improvement over the stock basket. I use a Tunze 9004 skimmer in the other return chamber which I recommend highly and makes for a great filtration combo. My water is now extra wet! Link to comment

LongDoggy
I just got one too been 7 years without one makes media changes a snap! Sweet. Right now my Chemipure Elite and Purigen are buried under the false floor in chamber 2. Definitely a PITA to get to. Cant wait to hook this thing up later tonight! Link to comment
LongDoggy
So, its installed as of last night. It seems to be working quite well. I don't notice my water being any wetter than before. The unit is clean and well made, thats for sure. It is nice to have the organization of the chambers for my media. The part I think I like the most is the top chamber, I stuff my filter floss in there. It will be easy to change it out which I frequently have to do. Worth the $50? I guess? I would rather it be like $25 and think thats more of a fair price for its capabilities. I wonder what the manufacturing cost is on one of these things? Link to comment
