I have 2 of the reefbreeders photon16s 8 inches above the water on my 75g tank. I have a deresa clam on the sand, so around 27" from the lights, and it has been super happy. I then have 2 maximas about 12" from the lights, and they have been doing fantastic.

I'm pretty sure the value LEDs are basically the photon16s but with manual controls.

Either way, you should be more than fine. Just make sure to acclimate everything to the LEDs. Start them at low power, and put the clam in the sand bed. Then slowly raise it up, especially if it is small.

Deresas are the easiest to keep, but their colors aren't as vibrant. They also grow large over time. (Mine went from about 2 inches to 4-5 inches in around 8 months)

Maximas are more difficult to keep, requiring stronger lighting, but they are beautiful. And those are the only two I have kept.
