this is a pretty full of an aquarium ...seems too full as a matter of fact. How long have you had it going and how are the corals doing? How fast did you stock up the tank?

You are right! It's a high demand 7g tank.

Now I wish now i have gone a different way, but i try to enjoy what i have.

Tank is 1.5 year old with 72 W PC total light. Most corals are less than one year old in my tank showing visible growth. No major loss yet.

-lps:

torch

red open brain

candy cane

blasto marleti

oxiopora

2 different montiopora dig frag.

bubble coral

favia brain

-softies:

gsp

sinularia

cabage coral

toad stool

xenia

-shrooms:

read, blue, metalic green

zoos: 8 different kind

-halimeda out of control

It's a constant battle to keep up the alkalinity above 7kH. I dose full strenght kalk and buffer.

And Thank God not too much stining!

hey...sorry to ask a newb question, but what is the green brain-looking one on the bottom/middle of the tank?

I've seen it in several tanks but don't quite know what it is. Thanks

I think that is the green/blue zoo's colony (below favia)on the round looking plug that you are refering to.

Check my other photos to see a close up.
