scolex Posted May 21, 2004 I bet you will lose 75% of the life in there, unless you used cycled water , rock and sand. I still bet you will even lose something ... sorry man. I see the brains and/or clams going first. Keep an eye on them. Quote Link to comment
erbclothing Posted May 21, 2004 There's a 24watt PC light that I am using... I'm sure that everything will be OK... Quote Link to comment
FnReef Posted May 22, 2004 I dont know about this tank...looks clean and all...but....looks like it could go down anytime soon.....at least let your water cycle first befor you start adding corals in.....the brain and the clam are the first to go....GOOD LUCK! Quote Link to comment
pos_user Posted May 22, 2004 water doesnt cycle. And you also dont know if he used some sand/rocks/filter media from an already established tank. If he did that...then cycling is not an issue. However, the lighting wont be enough for that Clam to live at all. The lighting also wont be enough for anything else in there to live comfortably either. The tank looks too clean and too new, not one spot of algae on there either...looks like you might be in for a rude awakening. ALSO, after I have seen his 75 bowfront in his gallery, which is absolutely gorgeous...I can obviously assume that this guy knows what he is doing. Quote Link to comment
