My 35 Gallon with Live Rock

Here is my 35 gallon set up with half of the live rock. I've set up 20 lbs of Fijian live rock in a tower and will set up another 20 in a lower arc at the base. This set up is precisely 24 hours old - so the cycle is just starting. The temperature has been 80 and the specific gravity 1.026 - though when I took a sample in to be tested, they told me it was abit low. Its hard to make sure stuff is constant when the little plastic measure is inaccurate. The system has an Eheim Ecco cannister filter, 3 Power wave 1200 powerheads on a Naturewave rotating powerbar.

Any comments and observations welcome....

Thanks! My partner thinks that I'm becoming obsessed...

One observation - all of my powerheads - even with the rotation of the streams - are making the tank seem like a whirling vortex of water. Is it possible to have too much water movement in the tank??

Also, I have a question about lighting. I won't need to place any serious lighting on for a while, but was wondering where I can get something off the shelf. My tank is 36" by 12 1/2" and I want to get a MH light plus moonlights and all the bells and whistles. I have no idea where to get it. My local saltwater store assumes that I will build one myself (hahahahahaha). Any suggestions?
