after 2 days, I am not getting much extension out of the frogspawn. it has I would guess, medium current around it. random like, not a constant blast.

give it a few more days and then try a lower current spot?

From the looks of it you are getting ZERO extension from that frogspawn. How long has it been in your tank? If properly acclimated and your water params are fine, it should open up within 24 hours.

water params are fine (except I dont have a test for alk, calcium, phospate and sg)

so, in essence, who knows until I can get those tested (tomorrow) except ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are good.

I have moved the coral down to a lower flow area, and now getting about a cm extension. pics are on the forums, in the coral section.

you dont have a hydrometer to test specific gravity? Or am i mixing up my abreviation of sg?

what light do you have?
